Nidhi Huba
Nidhi is a multi-talented yogi, artist, healer, and catalyst for change. She has been a yogic spokesperson as model & instructor for Eileen Fisher and appeared in many publications such as O Magazine, Yoga Journal, Yoga International, and New York Times Magazine. The art of Yoga, Ayurveda & Mantra is in her lineage. Nidhi has been teaching for close to three decades, delving into many modalities and healing practices to safely open, enlighten, and enrich each soul.
Her classes touch the serious practitioner as well as the novice. They are flowing as well as challenging and nurturing. She incorporates her healing skills with oils, crystals, sound, and Reiki as well as her mastery of Kundalini, Hatha, Tibetan, Aum & Bihar yoga. She is a yoga therapist and is in the midst of receiving a 3-year degree in Tibetan Medicine with a focus on counseling.
Her passion for the Crystal realm and seeing the healing effects prompted her to create Krystal Kids yoga, a blend of healing modalities and yoga that inspires children and their caregivers.
She is also the founder of Aumhome (a combination of feng shui, shamanic, and yogic remedies and design), which carries a line of healing products such as SoulSpray, a space clearing elixir. She offers getaways that are life-changing in every way. She has led tours to her motherland of India, to France, and in Upstate NY. Her passion for people and the planet, and her family is what spurs her creativity and fuels her ambition. Her mission is to gracefully flow into this Aquarian Age with joy, art, and grace while serving this planet and inspiring others to do the same.
Cleo Post, Owner & Director Rainbow Body Yoga, E-RYT 500, B.A. & M.A. in Yogic Studies, PhD Doctoral Candidate in Transformative Studies
Cleo took her first yoga class at an instructor's house tucked in the magical forested woods in upstate NY. The connection with the birds, the stream running outside, the breath, and the yoga postures expanded her awareness and consciousness. Her love for yoga continued to blossom, bringing her to complete her 200-hour yoga teacher training at The Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in 2011 and later to Naropa University where she received her 1000-hour yoga teacher training and B.A. in Yogic Studies in 2013. After returning to Upstate NY, she opened two yoga studios in the Hudson Valley called Rainbow Body Yoga that she managed and taught at for 6 years. In 2021, Cleo returned to Naropa University and was part of the first cohort to graduate from their new M.A. program in Yogic Studies in May 2023. The yogic studies programs at Naropa University enabled her to dive deeply into ancient yogic texts, yogic philosophy, current research on Hatha Yoga, the practice of asana, and the study of Sanskrit. Cleo is a PhD doctoral candidate at the California Institute of Integral Studies where she is researching the history of the seven chakra system within Kaula Tantra and medieval Hatha Yoga.
Cleo has studied under many amazing teachers and has gained insight through experimenting with different yogic techniques. This has ultimately enabled her to find her own distinct teaching method and flow that combines energy healing and yoga. During Covid, Cleo closed the Rainbow Body Yoga studios and shifted the business to offering transformational yoga retreats. Rainbow Body Yoga Retreats offers nature-based yoga and energy healing 200-hour and 300-hour yoga teacher trainings as well as yoga & Reiki retreats at beautiful locations around the world. Cleo has been teaching yoga for 16 years and practicing yoga for 18 years. Additionally, she is also an herbalist and energy healer. Cleo is grateful to offer and share the joy, peace, happiness, love, calmness, and serenity that yoga brings to all who come to retreats and trainings, and is delighted at the profound transformation that occurs during intimate retreat settings.
FAQs
Q: Is this retreat suitable for beginners in yoga? A: Yes! All levels are welcome. Each session will be gently guided and tailored to the group’s needs.
Q: What is included in the price? A: Accommodations, all listed meals, transfers, guided tours, initial Ayurvedic consultation, yoga, cultural experiences, and more. See “Inclusions” above.
Q: What is not included? A: Flights, personal expenses, Ayurvedic treatments, meals not listed, and travel insurance.
Q: How do I get to Kerala? A: Fly into Cochin International Airport (COK) by January 12. Depart from Thiruvananthapuram (TRV) on January 23. We’ll handle everything in between!
Q: Can I pay in installments? A: Yes. A $1,000 deposit holds your space. The remaining balance is due by September 1, 2025. (Alternative payment plans are available).
Q: What is your cancellation policy? A: Deposits and payments are non-refundable.
Q: Can I come early or stay longer in India? A: Absolutely! We’re happy to recommend hotels or help you extend your trip.
Q: When will the program begin and end? A: The program will begin with dinner on January 12th and end with breakfast on either January 23rd.
Q: How will I access fresh water? A: Unlimited purified mineral water bottles will be provided throughout the journey and at the hotels during the entire trip. You can also purchase a camping water filter, such as a Grayl or Lifestraw water bottle if you'd like to minimize plastic waste.
Q: How will I know the food is safe to eat during the trip? A: We will be mostly eating all meals at each hotel, where there are very high standards for food safety. When we eat out, we will only bring the group to restaurants that maintain this same standard of food preparation and safety.
Q:What if I'm gluten-free, vegan, or have allergies/dietary restrictions? A: Each meal will most often be served buffet style. Most Indian food is gluten-free, and there are often many vegan options. If you have a very specific restriction or allergy, please inform us so that we can make sure this need is cared for during the trip.
Q: How do I use my phone and internet during the trip? A: Every hotel we stay at has free Wifi, so you can use Wifi calling to text and call on your phone. Otherwise, most phone carriers offer an affordable international phone plan that you can get for the time you are traveling, and your phone will be available for use at any time when data is available.
Q: When and how do I get my Visa? A: You are only able to apply for a single-entry Visa one month before your travel date. Instructions on how to apply for the Visa will be sent once you have signed up for the retreat. We are also available to assist in this process.
Q: Do I need to get travel insurance? A: Yes, we are requiring that everyone on the retreat have travel insurance. A great site for this is Worldnomads.com
Q: How do I convert my money to rupees and how much money should I bring? A: We recommend bringing at least $500 in cash. This will cover your taxi fees to and from the airport, local street shopping, or any extras you may wish to purchase along your travels. You can exchange cash for rupees at the airport or withdraw money at ATMs. Many places accept credit cards. To use your debit card at an ATM, remember to contact your bank to tell them the dates you are traveling to make sure they don't lock your card if you try to withdraw rupees in a foreign country.
Q: Will I need to buy extra meals? A: The trip includes breakfast and dinner every day, except the first day, January 12th, which includes only dinner, and the last day, January 23rd, which includes only breakfast. The fourth day of the trip includes lunch. If you would like extra snacks or meals during the trip, we will provide you with options to purchase food at the hotels at your additional expense. We have found from previous trips and participant input that three full meals a day are often too much food during the trip and can take away from the experience. Breakfasts and dinners are often an open buffet and are very filling.
Q: What should I pack? A: A detailed list of items to pack will be sent before the trip, which will include what kind of clothing to wear.
Q: What is the appropriate clothing to wear in India? A: As a general rule, shoulders, chests, and legs need to be covered. We will go shopping on the trip for traditional Indian clothing/salwar kameez/saris that we will wear to temples. On the beach, you may wear bathing suits or, if you feel more comfortable, a t-shirt over your bathing suit.
Q: What cultural customs do I need to be aware of? A: We will explain certain cultural customs to be aware of before the trip once you have signed up.
